Big Title
Bev Bagby is a painter and printmaker, In recent years, she has explored printing onto used fabrics and wood to bring a sustainability to her work. Her outdoor work came from a desire to create bright pieces that could hang on a wall but also that one could enjoy in an outdoor setting.
Bev first exhibited in 1992 at Queensland Arts Council Gallery. Since then she has become an established artist exhibiting in Australia, New Zealand took part in an artist exchange/exhibition in Germany in 2007.Bev has work in private collections in the United Kingdom, Germany, Belgium, United States, Australia and New Zealand. Tutoring is a large part of her practice, enjoying the process of assisting others on their creative journey.
Her practice is mostly inspired by the landscape, encompassing the spriituality and form of all that we see. It is important to Bev that others see the beauty of the everyday, that can be missed in the urgency of day to day living.
