In the heart of the historic Nannup townsite you will find the Leanne White Gallery.

Leanne White’s Gallery showcases her love of the Australian bush. Her paintings and drawings are often studies of wildlife in their natural habitat. Some as close definitions with fine detail, and others in the landscape. Her landscape works are vast, when focusing on the north, or emotive and alluring with the changing of seasons and ambient light. Within the landscapes and, true to the wildlife habitat, is the acknowledgement of the biodiversity of flora across the country. Leanne’s style is a strong sense of colour, with expressive paint work and the execution of fine detail. Her artworks are often a narrative of fauna, with flora in a minute to continental setting.

Leanne White is an accomplished Children’s Book Illustrator. In the gallery, her books will be available, with some illustrations exhibited. She often has one or two portfolios on display, to view the illustrations as roughs and then completed artworks before graphic design and printing is commenced.

Leanne has been a practicing artist for 35 years, she embraces all paint and drawing mediums, with a love for the fluid spontaneity of watercolours and inks, the delicious consistency of oil painting or the instant possibilities and results of acrylics. Leanne is accomplished painting on a variety of surfaces.
