Vicki Goltz born and bred in Collie, married and had two children bought them up in Collie. Has always had a creative streak. Her canvas's for her creative side was alway Painting the inside off her house and her garden is her inspiration for the colors on her mushies. Her hubby learnt to let her go if he came home from work and wallpaper is being stripped off walls. This creative streak grew when her darling granddaughters arrived. Wanting to make a fairy garden for when they visited Vicki found she couldn't buy mushrooms. This born MYSTICAL MUSHIES. She learnt from her mistakes and 14 years later is still making for other people's grandies and grandmothers. From there Vicki done a workshop for making fairy houses made out of recycled materials, so she started making them and selling with the mushies. At the workshop her teacher friend was talking to group about pottery. Hence she now likes pottery. Vicki has been doing pottery for 8 years. Would love to do lots of wheel work but has arthritis in her thumb. As most hand built pottery it is unique hers definitely is. Doesn't listen to what others say how it and must be done doesn't do what the norm for glazing. Likes to do her own experimenting with clay. and glazes. At the start off her pottery learning she enter the Collie Festiv arty. Got second prize for a pit firing Luminary Now she helps with kiln firing which is another learning curve for her. To end this tale. Vicki also likes mosaicing. Has mosaiced old round coffee table ....starting small wasn't optional. Her next project was to make tiles for another rectangular coffee table. That's finished and another waiting to be done. So with this tale finished so now we are called MYSTICAL MUSHIES CREATIONS. (MM CREATIONS)
